Mary

3-1-13-Mary-Children's Lover

Mary was born in the fifties in St Lucia’s capital, Castries, in a family of seven children. Her great-grandmother was taken from Africa to the settlement of Lamaze in Saint-Lucia where she gave birth to Mary’s mother. Mary had to help her mother raising her siblings and do house chores, which she still loves and excels at doing to this day.

She left school when she turned 16 and started working as a casheer in a supermarket. After her step-father died she became the head of the family and struggled to take care of everyone. She now takes great pleasure in visiting her nine nieces and nephews.

When she’s not working, she enjoys doing ceramics, yoga and visiting the island with her friends from abroad.

She could:

– teach you how to make local fruit juices, do cornrows ;

– have fun with your kids for a couple of hours while you relax in a hammock or go for a swim

She would be happy to:

– receive donations (in cash or kind) for the Vieux-Fort Children Society.

She also loves chocolate, in whatever form!

To contact her, the best is to call her at + 1 758 720 05 92 in the evening.
