Art classes organized in schools

Ranging from watercolor through gardening to human sculptures, our activities have found eager and captivated subjects in the nearby schools. This has always been a rewarding experience for us, as we leave the schools with eyes full of smiles and cheer. Want to join, either as an organizer or as a participant? Art in Piaye secondary School

Making a mobile or sculpture from local natural materials to take home

This was a fun workshop where the kids and us put together found objects from our local environment – driftwood, shells, stones, seeds, seed pods etc. We also used man made objects , great way to recycle! Suitable for all ages, and a fun project for parents and children to make together. Most materials were provided, however, the kids brought along their own too.

Art in Rivière Dorée School

Botanical and still life in watercolors

Children were taught the art of watercolor; study flowers, fruit, leaves and other natural objects. They learned how to mix colors, understand their materials, work in both ‘wet on wet’ and ‘wet on dry’ techniques.
